The Way it is Now: In the state of California it is legal for a minor to
get an abortion without notifying her parents or legal guardian. All aspects of her identity are confidential.

The Way it Will be with Prop 85: It will be illegal for a minor to receive
an abortion without their parent or legal guardian being notified forty-eight hours before hand. The only exceptions would
be in the case of an emergency or with a court order.
